(I know all of this has probably been said many times, but I think I need to write all of this down, more for myself than anything.)
I’ve lurked here for well over a decade, and I cannot thank Lt. Reginald Barclay enough for what he’s done for our community. I came over here from Dimensions, and when that site went under, the Chan made my landing much easier. I’d also like to thank the archivists, who made this site the single best place to get this kind of content. I’d also like to thank those who review content, many of which used their hard earned money to give back to the community. Respect.
That being said, it’s time for this place to go.
This isn’t the same Chan that I frequented daily for years. It’s gotten so bad, that once a week, I’ll only quickly hop on to check to see if there are any download links that still work, then GTFO. CP is obviously the biggest issue, but there are so many other issues that are absolutely unacceptable. Here’s just a few of them;
1. Racism. I only pop on here about twice a week, and I always see at least one use of the N word. It’s also very common to see people of color being referred to as “sub-human”, among other things. Fucking disgusting.
2. Schizo threads galore. Some of the discussions that used to be had on here were wonderful, lots of varying topics and viewpoints, all with the shared goal of giving back to like minded individuals. I don’t need to tell you how bad it’s gotten, just go check the vast majority of what’s on the front page of your preferred board.
3. Sexism. There’s a reason why most models no longer have anything to do with this site. If I was in their position, I wouldn’t touch the Chan with a ten foot pole. There are so many people on this Chan that have obviously never had meaningful interactions with women, let alone a friend. I bet most models would absolutely love this place, if we kept our critiques to fair criticisms, if bad actors were not allowed to effectively run the threads, and made sure to let them know when we really enjoy their work. I used to frequent 4Chan in the mid 2000’s, and I left that place in the dust for the sake things that are plaguing this place. Women like positivity, remember that.

I have a deep respect for those who share this fucked up fetish, while remaining a kind, caring, and decent person. In another life, I'm sure that we would have been friends.
