I mean, not all stereotypes are false, most of them probably exist for a reason but the real issue is the fact of the matter is that NYorkers destroy every place they go. Most of us who are poor only care about the economy, while the rest of us who are better off care more about the crime. It all depends where you live because the rich live in fenced-off urban neighborhoods with a gate and a guard on duty. The only ones here who would love arrivals from NY are the "wealthy elites", the mayors probably, the businesses who can make a profit, but if you ask any honest hard working citizen what they think about people from NY, and you won't hear anything good. Me personally I don't mind the elderly people who retire here, even if they do wreck the economy when they mass immigration because of all the money they have in the bank. I would prefer that than an increase in crime when certain people from CA or other southern states have moved here in the past. It's crazy to see the way a whole town can be destroyed sometimes in less than a decade.
