I use layer masks to separate the model and the bg layer. The Rotobrush tool in after effects can automatically (with a bit of manual adjustment) update the mask to match the model in each frame. Then I can play around with different warp effects without the bg getting warped.

I think I use a combo of bulge and liquify, maybe mesh warp. Another part of my technique is to track some part of the model (say her belly button, or some other central feature) and use that tracking to keep the effect centered on the model if she moves a bit.

clip part of a video that has a minimal amount of movement then export as image, in this case 4k png, then I used corel paintshop pro and record the warpmesh on a single image and then I batch apply the script (recording of the warpmesh/editing steps) to all the images and hope it comes out alright.

it's a pretty lazy/unskilled method so you need a clip where their head doesn't move a lot and warp/morph around it.

also if you hold shift while dragging the warpmesh it'll move the entire vertical/horizontal line which keeps it consistent, otherwise you're gonna get a wavy/bendy image that just doesn't pass the eye test. obviously you can manual warp certain parts of the image, like the belly or hips to make them extra curvy you just gotta take into account the back ground and movement throughout the entire clip to keep it looking real enough to appreciate.

Will be using a form of “stop motion” to animate a complete Roxxie Blueberry scene. I will be inserting sound clips from Roxxie videos, as well as additional lines from other scenes into the classic Blueberry scene.
