>>125081I wonder though whether there might not be other issues at play than just weight. Exacerbated by weight, but not solely because she is so fat she cannot walk far. E.g., a bad hip might hurt a bit at 250, more at 350, and be positively agonizing at 500.
My wife and I met an SSBBW and her husband on a cruise who was late 30s/early 40s and in a mobility scooter. It was hard to get a good gauge on how big she was, but my guess is around 500-550 (and 5'4-ish). I have no idea why she needed the scooter: most women that size have mobility limitations, and she could get around ok without the scooter, at least for short distances (i.e., she didn't look in pain standing or got winded after just walking a bit). And she was a pretty confident woman, not someone who you would expect to give up on mobility because of a food addiction. So my guess would be that there is some sort of underlying issue that necessitates using a scooter, not just being so big.
