Aidy Bryant's weight loss really bums me out. I don't know if it was intentional, whether she feels good bad or neutral about it, whatever--those things aren't for me to say. But she was really cute and fat and had pretty good fat politics, so it's sad to see her steadily shrink over most of the past decade.

Two of the saddest are Kelly Kay / Kellybelly and BigCutie Trysta. Trysta was probably the saddest: I think Kelly lost naturally and is still pretty chunky (just not gloriously fat like before), whereas Trysta had WLS, and while I cannot find it now, I believe somebody posted a post-WLS pic here a while ago and she looked truly horrible (like a deflated balloon that had aged about 20 years). Understand the why, but still so sad to lose these beauties.

I think Asshley looks deflated now. It sucks to see, but at her age it makes sense. Carrying around 350-400 pounds is easier and less of a health risk when you're young, but she's older now and was probably feeling some effects from all the extra weight

If I remember from her Instagram, she used to be all in on the body positivity "you can be fat AND fit" idea (many of her posts featured her working out even as she got fatter), but then she went on this one extended hiking vacation with some super fit and athletic friends, and got disillusioned on the fit and fat thing when she was unable to keep up with them.

She tried to keep up the fit and fat facade publicly for a while saying that she was just doubling down on the fitness side and any weight loss was just an unintentional side effect, when in reality she had jumped on the wegovy bandwagon.

The saddest weight loss by far was Bigcutie Stable's because not only did she not want to lose weight but she didn't need to and the surgery nearly killed her, from what I remember she was having stomach problems and her doctor convinced her that the only way to fix it was to get WLS which she reluctantly agreed to, however the doctor was a quack and completely misdiagnosed the situation and it nearly cost Sable her life, at one point she couldn't hold down any food or water but after a few more surgeries these problems were eventually fixed, the real kicker is that just a simple change to her medication and she could have avoid all of this.

Celebrity-wise I had huge crushes on both Rebel Wilson and Mellissa McCarthy. MM seems to be plumping up again but I doubt she'll wind up back at her Heat/St. Vincent peak. Maybe Wilson will realize she can be a cute funny fat chick or a weird looking uncastable skinny one and reverse course.

Saddest was Deb Harper/Whimsical Angel, not a model but a megapear who was active on Dims bitd and an SA advocate. Then her knees gave out and she got WLS so she could have them replaced (because no orthopedic surgeon in their right mind will do so on a 500+ lb person). A month later a blood clot got loose, went to her brain and killed her. Merry Christmas.

Saddest model (and with a happy ending, for her) is Brie. My first internet BBW, and I watched her gain steadily from 250ish to 420+ over the next 15 years. Same deal, mobility issues, but she seems happy and healthy, if deflated. As sad as these weight losses are, one thing pretty much remains. The actually hot models basically stayed out outside of them not being fat anymore. And the alright looking fat models who were basically just hot for being fat....became ugly because well they weren't really hot to begin with.

Some of these women managed to become slim and actually work it. While others are just carrying around a ton of extra fat skin and therefore look weird.
