So, there was this one-off character from Sailor Moon named Puuko/Pooko/Puko/I don’t know the exact spelling, they spell it different every time, and I don’t even watch the show. She was some kind of humanoid balloon lady who blew herself up. She tried to suffocate Sailor Moon, got deflated, and then… disintegrated or died or something, robbing us of the opportunity to watch her blow up again.

I’m making this thread because the concept of this character and the “head merges into body” shape intrigues me.

I'm surprised no one's tried animating what we missed out on by now.

FACTS. I would LOVE to see an animation of her inflating or just… any balloon-hybrid character like her. Or heck, just this cartoonish niche shape in general, with the head swelling into the body and all. There are a few scenes of this shape in cartoons, like that one scene in Tom and Jerry’s “Just Ducky.”

I know what it’s called. It’s just underrated.
