My personal recommendation from experience is to use a balloon placed inside the cavity of the suit/prosthetic that will serve to pop before you actually damage the expensive bits. This also helps a ton because actually sealing these silicone materials is a huge pain. Nothing ever wants to bond to the stuff properly and cleaning the internal silicone is a pain in the ass. (Mold will take to it and the stains will show from the outside when inflated.) As for rigging the balloons to tubing I use a small custom part where you tighten 4 small screws to clamp the mouth of the balloon between two halves. (Image related)
