>>16195I can't be the only one who feels bad for her after reading this. I have to admit I never liked her content (in fact I think I posted earlier in this thread saying so) but still.
There's a big problem with mental illness in this kink; for participants on both "sides", if you will. There's also an endemic problem with the monetisation/commercial nature of it, but that's a whole other conversation
If you're a young woman with an eating disorder who hears about the business and decides to get into it, suddenly you have all these weirdos on the internet encouraging you and validating that. I can see how that would be intoxicating, but also very frustrating (especially when people you meet IRL don't reflect that adoration). I know this kink isn't exactly "mainstream", but I feel like it's nevertheless a hell of a lot more acceptable than someone with the other kind of eating disorder (i.e. anorexia) going online and getting encouraged by weirdos. Not that that doesn't happen, but it's much more uncommon and frowned upon.
If you're a lonely, sexually frustrated guy who likes fat girls, you get into this and you'll probably never meet anyone IRL who's up to your standards or shares your tastes. That's usually how it goes, but I find it very interesting that she talks about being unable to find a man IRL who likes feedism. If I wanted to be a cynical asshole about it, I'd say that's because she never actually got very fat. To elaborate, women above a certain weight seem to have the opposite problem: It's hard to find a guy who
isn't into feedism. At least based on women I've actually talked to about this and dated, oof
For her, though, it could be a more general issue I've noticed when talking with women IRL about kinks etc: Men are just horny bastards and tend not to care about what gets their partners off.
I'm also kind of surprised that she was paying a cameraman. I was under the impression that most e-hoes had their partner or friend act as cameraman. And that isn't conjecture; I'm basing that assertation on people I know personally who do onlyfans, burlesque shows etc.
It's sad and ironic that the internet enables us feedists to connect with one another, but also gives us unrealistic expecations and dooms us to a lack of sexual fulfilment in our day-to-day lives. You could say this about many different kinks, but IMO the difference with feedism is that it's actually possible IRL (as opposed to something like vore), which only adds to the false hope/expectation that we might get to experience our sexual fantasies in-person.
