So while a casket itself is not required a cremation tray at the very least is. A cremation tray is basically a cardboard box with some OSB on the bottom and sides to give some rigidity. If they were in a casket the tray just slides out one end of the casket onto a electric gurney which has rollers. A cardboard tube is placed in the oven to help slide them in. The only really hard part about this whole process is removing the deceased from where they passed especially if they are fat.
