Gf just got her gallbladder removed thankfully after having a load of trouble with gallstones. Anyone have any experiences with weight gain because of it? Can’t seem to get an answer online so I’d thought Id ask.

From what I've heard, getting your gallbladder removed is going to give you ick towards fatty foods for a while. It's not forever, but she's going to be intolerant of grease for a while.

Just be patient, bad habits can kick back in.

Yeah I thought that. Some say it can lead to weight gain so say a prayer for me i’m one of the lucky ones.
Feedee with a gallbladder removal here. It will vary case by case. My first "big" meal post-surgery was Taco Bell about a week and a half after surgery and I did totally fine with it. I have IBS-type symptoms, but I'm not insanely sick. I gained about 80lbs post-removal. Getting that thing out allowed me to gain without experiencing the awful stomach pains I was having pre-surgery. Yes, I ate myself into needing a body part removed.
