It's fun to see if there are people in the professional field that are or could be one of us. Post about those who could be/are one of us. There has been a thread before encompassing all industry people, but this thread's for animators and artists specifically.
FAs:

Dave Cooper is a comics artist turned fine artist. He says right out his main focus is "pillowy women" and FWIW he follows every BBW/SSBBW Insta chick I do and many more. His 90s-00s comics for Drawn and Quarterly feature more straightforward depictions of fat women while his paintings show them in a more abstract way. Dude is way into cellulite in both mediums.

Ned Sonntag is an OG, very much "out" FA illustrator and comics artist. FWIW his "Midnight Snack" entry in the 1988 compilation Renegade Romance #2 is the first feeder media I ever encountered.

Drew Edwards is a comics writer, best known for his OC Halloween Man, whose big, busty sidekick Dr. Lucy Chapman is based in Edwards' RL BBW rockabilly wife.

Curve lovers, not nec full-on FAs:

Los Bros Hernandez' Love and Rockets has featured many BBW characters, including Jaime Hernandez' thickie Maggie and Gilbert Hernandez' various super-busty, hippy women.

R. Crumb with his many, many thick and specifically big-legged, fat-assed women over the decades.

Bob Fingerman (Minimum Wage, etc) doesn't draw many full-on BBWs but he's clearly into super-curvy girls, particularly short stacks with big booties.

Phil Henderson paints incredible thick+ hourglasses.

Coop is an illustrator known for his hot rod/skate culture stuff and red-skinned devils. All his devil girls are thick and he's drawn full-on BBW versions too. FWIW his retrospective book from a while back was called The Big Fat One, with a fat devil girl on the cover.

Could probably add Frank Cho to the second list too, atleast as of recently. Dude draws a lot of light WG stuff with MJ for the memes and has a fat wife now.

Crumb is a god too

The comics and cartoons industry hate their fans. Bubblebass from SpongeBob was brought back to make fun of fetish artists and online creators like me. Just like how Keisuke is supposed to make fun of Evangelion fans, Conway and Paul make fun of Pokemon fans, Seto Kaiba makes fun of Yu-Gi-Oh fans, the joke doesn't work if the antagonist is effective at their goals.

Not really. It's normal for comic creators to base female characters on their wives. Hinata and Kushina is based off Kishimoto's wife, Chi Chi is based off Toriyama's wife. It's just that Naruto plummeted because his wife likes Sakura and was disappointed Naruto didn't end up with her in the end.
