Got myself a Miyoo recently and love it.
Handheld console that emulates old consoles up to PS1 & Gameboy Advance.
One I understood how to add games I immediately added Sonic 2 XL http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_2_XL
Does anyone know of any other fan games or community created games that can run on the console?

You just wasted your money for a handheld that can BARELY chug through PS1 games.

Return it and save up for an Anbernic RG405M or even a Retroid Pocket 3.
Ever heard of an iPad?
Honestly, I can't tell if getting a knockoff physical emulator just to play a fat fetish romhack of Sonic is a Chad or Chris-chan tier move. I just might do something like that one day. Impressive

That being said

Unless the miyoo is some deluxe super powerful emulator, and seems it's not, no point in not getting something more universal. I'd want to run at least Dolphin emulator

Meh, it's doing the job for the time being.
Games like Sonic 2 XL were made to be emulated on Megadrive/Genisis systems however I'm needing to do some research on how to play cetain PC games on the handheld. Not expecting GTA ram consuming games but things like The Breakfast Chub, Ebony Floe or Caloreload.

Need to see if they would be classed as ports or if it's not possible.

Any thoughts?
