It depends on the video platforms, but yt-dlp works well on a lot of them if you don't mind using a terminal or command prompt.

Video DownloadHelper might have been it. I've used it for years and it gets most everything. Not youtube and twitter though. ( used to grab twitter clips but quit several months ago)
