So I realized that in all of my most favorite stories, a lot of text is dedicated to describing the inner thoughts of the fat character throughout the story. Here is an example:

Notice how the author writes extensively about what the character is thinking and how they are reacting to their weight. In my opinion, this is what separates great stories from good stories.

Does anyone have another examples of stories that are written this way? It can be any genre.
