4chan was most people's experience with imageboards and its overt homophobia meant that a lot of gay men didn't stick around. Didn't help that janitors actively participated in it, too.
This means the only gay/bisexual men that used imageboards either jerk off to excessively girly men to make it less gay or were deeply in denial and stuck around anyway.
So masculine-aligned fat and body features add extremely uncommon, unfortunately.
