I was there when TheMainTummy was originally posting their early art in SoftService's discord. They improved quite quickly, which I just chalked up to a lot of free time to practise but if they are tracing it makes sense. They were asking for art advise and looking at art tutorials so I thought their progress was natural. I mean tracing is a form of practise to get the shapes down and correct but then making money off of that is another thing entirely. I mean there's a chance they aren't and just learned very quickly so who knows.

I wouldn't call LoRAs models so much as overtly complex mappings meant to be used in these AI programs. They're basicly rememberances of chosen aspects within a photo that are tied to words because otherwise the program wouldn't know what to look for. These get stored and with many of them the program uses similarities between them to mash up a "new" image which is actually more of a cross between more than two images almost fusing them together. You can think of the similarities as a median or an average between two lines 3 inches apart being 1.5, and in a very simple way that's how it works using simple math. The more difficult areas of AI are the object recognition and edits like color changes and variances both in rendering and in scanning to train the LoRAs, and these seem to work fine so far.
