Maybe this is the height of hubris or whatever, but I spent 15 or so minutes playing around with the face of the third image to see if I could make it look less "off". It's something I've noticed with Axel for a while now, in that his faces tend to look worse than his older stuff.

The shininess on bodies is a common fanservice thing. There are artists who draw thin and/or muscular bodies being super shiny. I figure with regular bods, we can see a woman's curves better and with muscles to see musculature easier. Axel probably has their characters shiny for similar reasons, it can add to a character's softness.

I have a question for those who complain about Axel-Rosered's art, why doesn't anyone just commission them to draw something different? Like if you're tired of them drawing the same characters over and over and over again, commission them to draw different ones or ones they haven't drawn before. As well as asking for scenarios they haven't drawn before (Sumo, cheerleader, etc.)
