Not sure how much I will post before this site shuts down but I just want to thank everyone for engagement that my bots have had over the last six months. I never imagined that I would post something that thousands of people would enjoy (judging from the numbers of chats generated between Beta Character AI and Spicychat at least). I will probably start to slow down when it comes to making new bots, mostly to prioritize remaking the definitions of my bots on Spicychat but also because I'm starting to reach a point where I want to move on to other things more often. 2023 has been a difficult year for me and these chatbots have been a good form of escapism. It doesn't mean I'm quitting but new bots will be less frequent going forward.

Coming back to mention that I think I managed to fix the yandere Yuri bot, I had to change her title and remove a section into her definitions that described her shoving the user's face into her breasts which I think was what resulted in her being blocked. For now her title is "Zuri" because changing it back to "Yuri" with the tests I did in incognito resulted in it still being blocked even with the offending text being removed. I don't have much interest in Caveduck, sorry. However, you can port her yourself if you want to. Samantha's definition should be public, so you can grab whatever you want from there to use. As for the personality, I grabbed it from High-on-Fairydust's deviantart. He has some reference sheets of Samantha, some of which list out words that describe her personality. I also grabbed some responses to Tumblr asks off of Deviantart to include as example messages for her definition. Hope this helped!

For those of you who like the chatbots of canon characters, I've come to realise that you don't really *need* there to be a fat fetish version of the character you want to play with.

Whichever sources the AI model was trained on seems to be aware of what a fat fetish is. So if at the very beginning of the scene you say "(Hello, I would like to plan out an rp if that's okay)" and then explain you'd like a scene where the character is fat and has a fetish for it, the bot will just go along with it too.

Got a bot I'd like some feedback on. While I'm still new to making bots, it's not my first but I feel like it could be better. Here's some basic details
Names Gina, nearly immobile fatty, you work for a company that takes care of people in their homes and you got lucky enough to go to her place. I've revised this bot a few times and honestly I took inspiration from that one dudes Gene bot for this iteration. The pfp looks weird because I just used the magic eraser tool on my phone to get rid of a hotdog that CAI thought was a dong.

Very basic but for the little time I tested them they work nicely. Sage-chan is a glutton, can't stick to a diet and generally denies that her eating habits are at fault of her growing waistline. Inukai tries to get you to eat (way) more, suggests that the pair of jeans that don't fit anymore must have shrunk in the wash and eases you into becoming a fatty without explicitly stating her feeder objectives.

I made a GF Vanilla the rabbit bot.

She's not "fat", just slightly chubby, but you can fatten her up if you wish.

I'm no expert on it but until someone else comes along with more, my understanding is this:

The long description is the personality of the character. The core around which everything else forms. By all accounts, you want to use words like "lazy" and "tomboyish" to describe the character.

I've had great success with my characters just writing a few sentences that incorporate the relevant words or phrases.

What you SHOULDN'T include is extraneous details. Tell how your roommate character acts, do not include what their room looks like or anything.

Again, I am not an expert, but to at least get the ball rolling I'd say something in the vein of this:

"X is a lazy tomboy. She spends her days sleeping, eating, or mooching off her roommate. Slacking off is enough for her content self. She barely acknowledges weight she's put on, save for her stomach on some occasions. Cares about her roommate and their opinion. She loves to eat, and will shamelessly gorge on anything left out by her roommate. Does not like to leave the apartment unless she absolutely must." This doesn't take up all the long description space but this is what I'd write for a thin/chubby tomboy roommate I wanted to see get fatter.

Regarding backstory, that's what you generally put in the Definition.

Long Desc. is personality, backstory/other details are Definition.

As long as you stay within 3200 characters, the AI will reference anything you put into the Def. I saw someone say that you had to put content in curly braces or brackets but I didn't bother with that and the AI understood what I was saying fine.

Depending on the character, I might do exclusively

"Operator: Who are you?
Char: I am X."

Sort of stuff. Or sometimes a mix of that with sample chats from the AI itself, and samples I produce for how it should talk, or modified ones that include what I mention.

Forego specific names or very specific things, or the AI will reference them constantly, which isn't helpful if there's a bevy of possibilities. An example is, fittingly enough, me trying to provide examples of how a fetish facility might try to condition an individual to enjoy being fat as ONE option of several. If I only reference that and not the other possibilities, 99% of the time it will veer toward that.

If you must be specific, ensure you give it a list, or rely on your own character's acting/suggestion to get the AI to cooperate.

And of course, don't be afraid to go back and modify stuff!

Fellas, I've been trying to create a bot in character ai, to no avail. The customization options feel loose and unwieldy and online guides don't help much, the bot always ends up generic. How do I really get my bot to feel like the character I want?

Somebody want to give me feedback on this one? I modeled this after eg17’s Linda bot on c.ai.

First time making a bot, so no idea if I got the formatting right in the character descriptions or anything like that.

Plus, you get about 15-20 messages in and it seems to like… reset, like the bot thinks you’re at the beginning of the prompt/start again or something. So I appreciate any feedback there.

What are peoples thoughts on remaking chatbots? Sometimes I'll come across one that has a decent character/concept but is absolute shit (usually poor grammar, or a halfassed profile if it even has any) and feel tempted to just copy it and make it way better. If there was an easy way to contact creators I'd just ask for permission but just as is, I wasn't sure if there was some kind of etiquette to it.

Made a fat Basil bot inspired by both the attached pic and a story on AO3. He starts out shy, but quickly becomes horny whenever he's hungry or eating. Thoughts and comments are appreciated as always. Pic spoilered for blubbery boy.

Depends on the form. Lab Coat 21 would probably work more toward her gaining, probably from her trying to curb her hunger so her Majin half doesn’t resurface.
Majin 21 would definitely work as a feeder though, trying to blob you up for the sake of a tastier snack…though maybe getting too wrapped up in the whole “feeding you” thing to eat you.

When making bots, what do you usually put in the example chats? I'm not really sure their purpose, or what they effect in the end result. Is it more to improve the bots memory, or have better control over their tone and word choice?

You are correct, by the way. While the advanced definition doesn't affect the bots memory, it does control the bots tone, choice of words, verbal tics, etc in a characters speech. If you want a character to have an accent, for example, you would have to write some example responses reflecting that.

I will say, in a very "uhm ackshually" nitpicky way, it does help with memory? But only in the sense that if you put stuff in the example chats, it has a far lower chance of losing track of pertinent details.

Just as an example, say you have a character who loves vegetables but hates fruit, without it being a part of their personality (such that you don't put it in the long description). That's an Example Chat detail. Of course the AI may still neglect it or forget but it but the chance is definitely lower. You'll find far more consistency if you put the effort in here.

There's really no wrong way to write it, but I tend to put in a few lines describing the character or specific details regarding what I want, and then fill the rest with example chats, seeing what the AI creates and saving that before going into actual chats, finding samples, pulling them out and replacing the old examples, etc.
