Unless people are posting Cream images then I don't exactly know why people are screaming "pedophile" at individuals who clearly aren't looking at characters that resemble kids in any way. Even then not only have the characters matured a lot more since the older games but they look the exact same and even then those designs never really resembled 12-year-olds and 14-year-olds.

I could stay here ranting about all the reasons why the people who say this are absolutely brain-dead and trigger-happy with the word "pedophile" but you can easily come to the conclusion on why this is stupid.

But let me give an example. Lanolin is a new character. One who I haven't exactly looked up what age she is. But to me, she doesn't look like a kid so therefore it really isn't that big of a deal to look at the character and pretty much say "Yeah she's hot" (especially when they literally gave her breasts as big as Rouge's).

None of those are OFFICIALLY made by Sega or Sonic Team WHATSOEVER! But yet for some reason, people feel the need to completely ignore that fact and say "Yep that means it's still canon!" No, because an official website (Sonic Channel) literally got rid of the ages and they've even talked about how they're maturing the characters like Sonic, for example, using Roger's voice to show his maturity over the years.

It really does seem like these people only want drama. Some of them will even try to pull up the Sonic Heros manual even though that game was literally two decades ago and is no longer relevant to the changes made in the modern day with the characters. Like that is some top-tier brain rot.
