>>27485Well where do you live that an 18 year old is expected to be incompetent and not be "an adult" person? That is the first time I have ever heard something like it. Surely if they are not they are considered abnormal. Even, let's say that it was a whole generation that were to blame for starting an unnessecary war, or destroying the economy with their meandering, surely that generation will be seen by the rest of the population as abnormally incompetent, but for a person to reach adulthood with the expectations of him or her not being able to keep up with the rest in what society requires to continue would be proposterous. It is a bit of a double edged sword since it is up to that person to make the choices he wants for his own life but from the point of view of everybody else there is something wrong with you if you don't have your shit together by the time you are 18. It's not a good sign.
It's something nobody has to tell you but you know. They are not ever going to get in your face and tell you to stop being such a pussy, but the people around you will notice if you are 18 and all you do is play video games all day. Some people may gossip, I don't know because I stay away from such people, then there are those in the upper achellants of society who choose to measure success by material goods such as your car or how big your home is, but they too are "abnormal" and most normal people won't care about petty superficial things such as physical appearances although there are a few social circles that are heavily scrutinized by appearances they too do not represent most Americans.
What most women care about is what you suspect, the usual. If you're a good person you will likely also be doing things correctly, getting married, trying to have children, and all that. (This obviously does not represent women of alternative lifestyles who wear tattoos and have children with more than one husband.) These woman may be common in your area but they are also not the norm and they may have othee things going on in their heads and their priorities will likely differ from the normal woman as far as what thry want out of life and the type of men that attracts them.
