Very few of the ones actually into it struggle much to gain weight until they hit the upper 300s or lower 400s.

There's no irony here. It's literally just that a lot of the small fats who claim to be feedees simply aren't but realize that if they say that they can make money lol.

I think it also just depends on how their bodies react to the changes in calories, every fitness freak will talk about maintenance calories and calorie surplus and deficits etc.
And most feedees get their bodies used to the high amount of calories which makes them struggle to gain, unless they keep increasing their appetite. Which is usually what separates feedees from being 250/300 to 350+ imo
