Hey, I remember that there used to be this artist a while ago who typically went by "backpainart" on places like tumblr and deviantart, but one day he deleted everything and disappeared...
I've been on a hunt for his art since, and it turns out this isn't the first time he's been mentioned on this website, since there was a whole similar dedicated thread to finding his art here back in 2021... though all that remains of it now is an archive with every image/video missing, so it's not the most useful... i've decided to make my own thread in hopes of raising interest in finding his art and animations! I'm specifically looking for the animations that were posted in that old thread, since all the files for them are missing now...

thanks! it's nice to have *something*, i don't think i've ever seen these two before

Also, here's an animation of his that i still had saved, would be very happy if someone could share more

Oooh, I haven't seen this one before either, very good find!

I might as well post some pics of his that I still had saved (+ a gif)

bump!!! since the site's back

Does anyone had made contacts with backpaintart him/herself in here?

Apparently there's an archive of the old thread that shows they commented on it. To be honest, I kinda hope they'll post here as well. I really like their style and it'd be an utter shame if their videos just ended up becoming lost media.

Bumping to keep the thread alive.

So using the Wayback machine, I figured out that there are a bunch of backpain's twitter posts that have been archived from around 2019 to 2020. Here's the link if you're interested: https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://twitter.com/backpainart1/status/*

Anyhow, there are two posts that have gained my attention, as I believe that these are posts that included videos.
For those wondering, they are:
> https://web.archive.org/web/20200405185105/https://twitter.com/backpainart1/status/1246577484373655552

While I would love to view the videos inside them, I don't have the knowledge required to do so. If anyone knows how to extract the videos from these archived posts, I would be grateful if you could post them here.

Great find!

would love if this anon shared more videos if they have any more

pump (bump)

I'm gonna try and friend them on report my post. It's unlikely, but it's worth a shot, at least.
