So I've been using this site for about a year now, and something interesting i've noticed is that there is a discrepancy between (what I perceive to be) the average age of users between boards. I've noticed the art focused boards seem to skew younger with a bunch of zoomer slang and "fandom Twitter" behavior in them while the irl boards seem to skew older, with older media being refrenced and more typical chan board language and behavior.

Has anyone else noticed this? If so, what would you say the cause is?

Booty is one of a kind on the internet. I'm convinced it's the only image board populated by a majority of niggers. It fits perfectly well with the stereotype but it's so obvious that it is NOT the same user base posting on booty as on the rest of the site.
The games thread on alt is full of minors, mouth breathers, autismos or a combination of all three. Occasionally there's good discussion there but it's rare.
Elite and threads dedicated to the more niche fetishes (loli, as well as many others) are usually the groups that seen the most sane and with by far the most "image board literacy".
Gen, BBW and ssbbw has a lot of boomers posting I feel.

It almost feels like people on /bbwdraw/ seem to actively push back against image board culture at times. Seems odd to me. Why would you use a chan site if you don't like or can't tolerate chan culture? Go back to Deviantart or wherever.

Might have to go see what's going on there. I've looked at it before, but I found the thread topics and the imagery to be boring as fuck so I didn't stick around. On a side note, it makes me cringe very hard whever I see someone using emojis on this site. It's the same feeling as biting into a randomly hard part of food that's normally soft.

I wouldn't call furrys a fetish, it's just an aspect of the community. Furrys were always about liking anytho animal characters in general first, it's just thst liking them sexually has always been a big part of the community too, which has caused alot of interal stife. Frederick Knudsen made a really good pair of videos about the early history of the community years ago. I'd recomend watching them if you're interesed in learning more/want to verify what I've said.

I think it has to do with what someone is used to. Older guys "outgrew" jackin off to art. this means /bbw/ and /ssbbw/ are the most "boomerish". Note that /ssbbw/ in particular is also a blatantly autist-heavy (ha!) board, in my opinion. The entire site is (autism and fat fetishism connection should be researched more), but that board in particular is an exemplar. I think that the fat fetish user base in Asia is very very low and also young. Its just starting to wiggle in genz who have the money and time to jerk off to fat women.
