As to your question, I'm not sure; topping out somewhere around 225 kg eventually, perhaps? She'll probably remain more in the 190-210 range in subsequent installments (whenever I'm struck with inspiration to put them out), though. As you can probably already tell, with these stories, I'm more interested in depicting fluffy slice-of-life feedism stuff in a pairing I'm attached to than I am in making the gain the main focus. So, don't expect to see massive growth installment-to-installment.

That said, I have been toying the idea of eventually doing a flash-forward one-shot where she's large enough that her mobility is significantly restricted and/or a flashback series about the two of them working out that they share this kink interest and starting the journey to her current weight, but no promises.

This is my first attempt ever trying something like this. Please tell me what you think. I intend for this to be a slow burn story.


Chewing methodically and slowly, already finishing her third meal for the day sat Rei Ayanami. At this point in the day, she was full but not stuffed. There was more to come. This was her routine for the past week now. To eat until she was bloated and wincing from the dull pain of an overstuffed belly. It started almost accidentally, her relationship with Shinji having blossomed into something more intimate, she quickly learned that not only could he cook well but expressed his love by feeding others. The feeling of being cared for, thought of, and especially the fullness both emotionally and physically was instantly addicting to her. Internally Rei was met with a puzzling new thought to come to terms with: she wanted more. She wanted more good food. She wanted more love and attention. And most of all, she wanted to be fuller. The warm feeling of fullness she was left with after stuffing herself with any and all food before her was a sensation she could not get enough of. To go from being deprived of nearly all feelings to this new experience was simply overwhelming for Rei. After coming to terms with and accepting her new desire, she brought it to the one who had enabled it all to begin with. For Shinji it was not enough that a woman enjoy and be satisfied with his cooking, he also wished to see her grow too. After hears of keeping his very personal fetish secret, its no understatement to say he was beyond surprised. Right before him was a dream come true in the form of a bloated Rei, calmly massaging her belly and anticipating answer. Before a more coherent thought could ever form he had immediately given her a shaky, but approving, "yes!" giving Rei all that she needed to start them both on a journey in gluttony. That night marked the beginning of the first true stuffing which set the pace for many to come.

Back to her present situation, Rei had cleaned her plates and finished off a third meal, something which was expected now after a week of concentrated effort. She passed the feeling of being satiated hours ago and now had a dull pain in her midsection. It was welcomed, for she knew that this was a clear sign she'd surpassed her regular capacity and well onto pushing her maximum again. One of Rei's defining traits is her firm commitment to whatever had her focus. After establishing with Shinji she wanted to be filled with his food, and that he wanted to see her grow from it, she set out to push her absolute limit every day. The oncoming fourth meal carried by her loving feeder was no match for Rei's determination despite protest from her swollen tummy. As she chewed through the first plate the slight pain of a stretched gut turned into a warm stinging. She continued, using her free hand to rub her belly to ease some of the discomfort. Halfway through the second plate she was starting to slow down, now feeling sluggish. Rei pushed on, last night she'd stopped at this point but it wasn't going to happen again. Now on the third and final plate of this meal, Rei found herself out of breath and unable to ease her aching belly. In a final mustering of her strength after a quick break, Rei attacked this dish with a ravenous vigor. Within moments the food she so loved was gone. She rose from the table and slowly shuffled her way over to the couch cradling her pregnant looking food baby and crashed. Falling into a food coma, she awoke hours later to the warm sensation of her loving boyfriend tenderly massaging her impressively distended stomach. Hot to the touch, it felt to her that there was simply a large stone where her torso should be. This pleased her knowing that she had once again surpassed her own capacity for the eighth day in a row. In addition to this, Rei was facing another pleasure. The praise from her feeder combined with the overwhelming fullness she loved caused a stirring of emotion and desire in her. Reaching past her obstacles of a belly, Rei moved her hand to her panties and was unsurprised that they were damp. As the massage continued, the pressure built and Rei couldn't contain herself when a moan escaped her lips. Shinji stopped, hesitating from trying to process what he just heard and if he really heard what he thought he did. Breaking him loose from the stupor, Rei's fingers wrapped around his wrists and pulled his touch back to her inflated gut. Realizing it was his invitation to continue, Shinji picked up where he left off. Rei drifted back into her food coma, this time quietly moaning to the rhythm of Shinji's hands as they made their way across her stomach.

Weeks of this routine were due to catch up with her, and Rei was met with the first consequences of her efforts. In her previously lithe form, no one could reliably guess where such a small woman would gain weight, but as time crept forward since she and Shinji entered their relationship it was becoming more apparent she was a bottom heavy gainer. During one of her regular eating sessions, now 4 weeks since she's started, her panties finally gave way to the soft flesh steadily piling onto her waist and hips. Standing up after demolishing yet another series of meals and beginning to make her way to the couch for a much deserved rest, Rei jumped at a sudden pop at her hips. As she looked down past her large gut her jaw dropped, amazed, when she realized what popped. Spotting the ripped panties on the floor instead of clinging to her widened figure, Rei felt a rush of different emotions. She knew that her body would change, but to have the undeniable proof of it laying before her was exhilarating. Before she could properly cope with all these rushing feelings, Rei picked out one very familiar sensation above all the others. As she settled down on the couch in her resting position, a wandering hand made its way between her legs. Across the hall a sharp cry and loud gasp for air startled Shinji while he put the dishes away. The following day, Rei promptly announced to Shinji that she needed to go clothes shopping and much to his astonishment, that she now wanted him to feed her more in addition to her regular meals. Rei had big plans for a bigger body.

Okay, so: in the aftermath of what FC has collected, there was one more story, the Mari story that finishes everything off. I recall the author saying that he wanted the Mari story to be the climax of the whole thing since it thematically ended things off.

The story where Shinji is getting his nails painted seems to have been an "extra" story, not part of the "storyline" of Shinji gradually succumbing to Kaworu's pampering and fattening. Mostly because he just doesn't seem to be as huge as he is in the Asuka story or the Mari story. And also the Mari story says "The (Very) End" at the end, while the story of ultra-feminine Shinji does not.

I think the story of Shinji getting his nails painted represents "bonus content" that is not essential to the overall storyline of the Rentry pastes from that thread. I think that thread's proper "storyline" ends with the story where Mari appears at the end. So if you wanted to collect it as a complete whole, you'd end with the Mari story, and the story of Shinji in the pink muumuu getting his nails painted would be bonus content.

There needs to be a story where Kaworu fattens up Shinji and marries him. Imagine him waddling down the aisle in a tent-sized wedding dress with the veil bunching up around his fat ass. I was actually reading FC's story "Bridal Weight" the other day and it occurred to me that Shinji would be a great protagonist for a story like that.

Sadly, the entire reason the original thread got deleted is that there is apparently a cabal of junior moderators going around getting threads about underage male characters on /bhm/ deleted. It's why the original MHA thread got deleted, too.

Frankly it drives me up the fucking wall. I'm sure they're organizing on a Discord somewhere, and the fact that they seem to have the backing of /bhm/'s mods makes it even more infuriating. It's not even the exact nature of what they're up to. In theory I have no objection to banning threads about underage characters. I've mostly retired from writing Shinji and I won't be pursuing another big-ass story arc. As others have noted, the particularly storyline of Shinji getting impossibly huge culminates in the final story where Mari appears at the end, and then walks off, leaving Shinji doomed to Kaworu's clutches forever. A Bad End, but one he brought upon himself with his own greed and thirst for consequence-free affection. Turned out to be not so consequence-free after all, didn't it?

Writer of the Shinji stories here. Speaking of Ritsuko, I've been coming back around lately to her occasional presence in this universe. Readers of the original story arc will remember that Ritsuko gradually made some appearances as the story went along. My idea is that, after Kaworu abducted Shinji from Tokyo-3, NERV and SEELE's plans kind of collapsed all at once, and the various other characters of Eva scattered to the winds. Some of them wound up with Shinji and Kaworu in California. Ritsuko is among them, but it turns out she's a fatty lover herself, so rather than try to rat the two of them out, she tags along with them out of a perverted delight for how obese Shinji has become.

She makes an interesting third wheel and I've grown to like her perspective being added to scenarios. So I've written two new stories where she plays a prominent role.

Oh, yeah, he's delighted by it. As I've said before, Shinji really just wants effortless affection without having to make himself vulnerable. That's his entire thing. Kaworu gives it to him, and so Shinji allows himself to be molded by Kaworu into his ideal plaything. Shinji is completely happy to be made dependent and docile; Kaworu has tamed him with love and bent hm to his will. Shinji is happy to be a fat, incontinent pet because he's awash in Kaworu's love at all times. He wallows in Kaworu's affection like he wallows in his own feces.

Thinking about Evangelion fics more broadly, I suspect you could potentially do something similar with Asuka. Asuka is more like Shinji than she'd ever want to admit. She, too, craves affection, because it was denied her at a young age just like it was denied to Shinji. And she, too, is afraid of opening herself up and getting hurt, because she's been hurt in the past, most pointedly by her mother's suicide. I think you could easily put Asuka into a situation similar to Shinji, where she's a kept and fattened pet, docile and domesticated. The thing she lacks is a figure like Kaworu. Kaworu is really perfect for turning Shinji into a kept fat pet, and Asuka doesn't really have a character like that in her own storyline. She doesn't have anybody who shows up to offer her endless affection and love with no hard work for her to do in return, and no strings attached.

If you could conjure up a character like that for a fic, I think you could use such a character to get Asuka roughly where Shinji is in these stories.

With Rei it's a bit different because Rei is the opposite of 'abandoned,' the way Asuka and Shinji are. Rei has been part of a plot, a plan, a scheme, her entire existence. Her entire time at NERV, under Gendo and Naoko and Ritsuko's thumbs, she's been merely useful, doing what she was told rather than what she ever wanted herself.

So my suspicion is that a really in-character Rei weight gain story would involve her gaining weight of her own volition, doing so as a free choice of her will, rather than being caressed and pampered into it like Shinji and Asuka. For Shinji and Asuka, being fed into obesity is an act of submission; for Rei it would be an act of defiance. I can imagine a story where she finds out about the world of feederism and decides to give it a try herself just to make a free choice on her part.

Continuing to hypothesize about what flavors of weight gain fit certain characters, it occurs to me that with Misato, if you wanted, you could add a certain self-destructive side to her getting fatter. Bring in things like slob and health issues in a very overt way.

Misato has a fundamentally self-destructive nature. She thinks she's "dirty" and deserves to be dirty, because there's a part of her that thinks she shouldn't be alive; that she should have died during Second Impact, and didn't deserve for her father to sacrifice his life to save hers.

You could imagine a scenario where she rather morbidly decides to eat herself to death. She figures she doesn't deserve to live, but she can at least commit suicide in the most indulgent and luxurious way possible. She's already used to indulging her appetites, it's easy for her to slip into gorging on sweets and treats and processed food. She'd probably welcome the failure of her health and fitness and take a morbid pleasure in the slow collapse of her body.

You could potentially do something similar with Asuka, but I think Misato's the much better fit. When Asuka stops feeling the will to live, she withdraws herself and deprives herself. It seems much more in character for Misato to respond to losing the will to live by going on the mother of all hedonistic benders and deciding to eat and drink herself to death.

You know, it's funny: when I go back over to 4chan, and participate in the Eva discussions there, I'm reminded all over again of why I keep writing things like this. There's no escaping an honest analysis of Shinji and Kaworu's relationship that concludes it would be bad for Shinji in the long run. Stunting, infantilizing, amplyfing Shinji's self-centerdness and tendency to refuse to take risks. It's all right there in the actual anime.

If you add in the detail that Kaworu has a fondness for fat guys, then everything that's happened in the stories I've written becomes an easy extrapolation from canon. One of the reasons I like writing these stories is BECAUSE they build so naturally off of what's actually in the anime. I don't really have to make anybody OOC, least of all Shinji himself. It really feels natural that if Kaworu had taken Shinji away from Tokyo-3, and kept him as his own somewhere, something like these stories would have occurred. Assuming Kaworu was a fan of fatties, of course.

If I have one regret, it's that I haven't inspired too many other writers of similar stories. I myself was inspired by FC-Punk's Shinji/Kaworu content, and it would be nice if there were someone else around putting out weight gain and slob content featuring these characters. Many hands make light work, after all.

One thing I've really enjoyed exploring in a lot of these newer stories is just how happy and content Shinji is with his extremely unusual situation. He's extremely obese, completely incontinent, incredibly homosexual, and almost totally helpless. But he's having the time of his life, because he's completely surrendered to being cared for by Kaworu. Being Kaworu's kept pet fulfills him profoundly, hence why his attitude is so delighted and saccharine. It's easy to write him as almost childlike, like he's regressed into a childish simplicity because he's just so totally helpless and he loves it. It feels very appropriate and in-character given where he's wound up.

Misato I've struggled with for a number of reasons.

One of them is somewhat sentimental, I must confess. I think Misato represents a kind of healthy path forward for Shinji. I always have, as long as I've been an Eva fan. Maybe somewhat romantically but not even necessarily so; rather, just as someone who cared for Shinji and rooted for him to succeed. Obviously their relationship is a lot more complicated than that, and Misato's no perfect person. But she represents a positive force in Shinji's life, I feel.

This makes her a bit out of place in this scenario, because under Kaworu's spell Shinji's life has taken a turn for the worse under the themes of Eva. As I've mentioned, Shinji's life as Kaworu's fat, gay pet is a rejection of the themes Neon Genesis Evangelion tries to assert. Eva says that you have to learn to reach out and connect with people even when you risk rejection and getting hurt. Shinji has retreated into the risk-free, effortless affection Kaworu gives him, and has been molded into a creature of pure appetites and fully released inhibitions. The Shinji of these stories is a failure from the perspective of what Eva as a show is trying to say.

So Misato, who's integral in Shinji's journey to becoming the kind of person who can breach the Hedgehog's Dilemma, is out of place in a setting where Shinji has rejected the Dilemma entirely. At best, I can see her appearing like Rei appears in the story where she does: appearing to be stunned and dismayed at what's become of Shinji. But Misato wouldn't agree to leave Shinji in Kaworu's clutches like Rei ultimately does. She'd fight. So in the interest of writing simply easy fetish stories, she's more complicated than I'd prefer to tackle in stories like these.

Also, you mention she'd be corrupt like Ritsuko, but I don't think so. Misato has a core of purity to her that Ritsuko is revealed to lack. Ritsuko is easy to corrupt into going along with Shinji's ruined state. So is Asuka, because of the disdain for Shinji that she always has in her back pocket. Rei can't be corrupted like that, and neither can Misato. So, at best, Misato would be a one-off appearance, I feel.

The third major reason I haven't thrown Misato in here is because of the "lore" around these stories that I've half-heartedly committed to. By taking Shinji away from NERV, Kaworu has upended both NERV and SEELE's plans. Without Shinji, Unit-01 doesn't work, and so Instrumentality can't happen. This has probably caused a kind of collapse of both NERV and SEELE, and the characters we're familiar with have scattered to the winds as a result. I've had a half-baked idea that some unfortunate fate befell Misato as a result of the collapse of SEELE and NERV. That's another reason she hasn't shown up yet.

Honestly, there's part of me now that wants to write some separate weight gain stories with Misato as the star, set in this same continuity. Maybe with the collapse of the world she's used to, as a result of Shinji's abduction, she'd get rather fat and slobby herself.

Though I'm not sure yet if Asuka in this scenario is really lesbian for Rei or not. Shinji's completely gay for Kaworu at this point but Asuka may merely see Rei as a friend and caretaker. A surrogate mother figure, essentially, someone to pamper and tend to her in her obese dotage. Rei, meanwhile, is more attracted to Asuka's decline than anything, I think she enjoys Asuka being a fat wreck because she gets to tend to her.

I did write up here >>10115 that I could easily see Asuka falling into exactly the same scenario as Shinji. The two of them are not so different, psychologically; Asuka's bravado from the beginning of NGE is all a facade, as we see, and she's as needy and desperate for affection as Shinji in her own way. I always knew, as a result, that there was a vector to her becoming a fat, coddled pet just like I was writing Shinji. I just needed someone to do the coddling. I needed a character who could be to Asuka what Kaworu was to Shinji in my stories. I couldn't figure out who it would be, who would be the best fit. It couldn't be Hikari because Hikari's tied to the "normal" side of Eva and would never go in for this sort of deviant manipulation. I thought briefly of maybe introducing a human form of one of the Angels, probably Arael given its unique place in Asuka's mental and physical collapse in the show.

I don't know why it took me this long to realize that I could just use Rei. Granted, the two of them are not friends in the show, far from it. But Rei's a motherly character, as Shinji himself observes in the anime, and having a fat pet around to pamper and spoil seems right up her alley. Not to mention I can see her getting off on Asuka's slow physical collapse as obesity wrecks her health. My idea is that Rei is essentially pampering Asuka to death and really enjoying it, because it fulfills her motherhood impulse and also breaks the pride of the girl who always annoyed her.

Also, she's got all the Angel powers Kaworu does, or at least Rei 3 has them. She's got the superhuman strength and the AT Field manipulation, which is quite handy for dealing with an obese, unhealthy, incontinent pet.

It really does work out quite nicely. I will probably write more Asuka and Rei fics. And that double date is a fun idea. Between Shinji and Asuka, I wonder who would soil themselves first.

In particular I've been having some fun playing around with the idea that Shinji might not have wound up quite as homosexual as he is in these stories if not for Kaworu's dominance and manipulation. As I like to make a point of saying, Kaworu could plausibly be accused of grooming even in the original anime. He's an eldritch abomination older than the stars. The age gap, and the power gap, between him and Shinji is insane.

And he's definitely a groomer in these stories, so I've been increasingly tempted to lean into that, and explore the idea that Shinji has essentially been dominated into this submissive, grotesque relationship. Being an obese, incontinent gay bottom isn't something that would naturally have happened to him, and Kaworu basically dominated and groomed him into it, playing on his desire for affection to bend him to his wishes.

Speaking of storylines, I think you've got every fic of mine in the initial "fat Shinji" storyline, right? Or you did the last time I checked the document. It's the storyline whose first and last stories begin with the line "Shinji Ikari lounged on the bed." Writer here, I confess I'm not exactly scientific in my approach to Asuka and Rei. Back in the day, I was driven to tell a relatively coherent story with Shinji, getting him from 200 kilograms to 300 and then eventually to 500, all with him gradually losing control of his bodily functions and becoming Kaworu's helpless toy. With Asuka and Rei my approach is more scattershot; I'm basically writing random stories without trying for a storyline.

As always, I don't have a monopoly on any of these characters or any of these ideas, so if somebody wants to write a story themselves with these versions of Asuka and Rei, they're free to do so. I really want to emphasize, I love to emphasize, that Shinji is totally doomed in these stories. Kaworu has taken him away from any chance of finding the self-actualization he gets in either the show or EoE or the Rebuilds. He's totally turned his back on becoming a better person, becoming a more complete person, actualizing himself, and realizing his potential. Kaworu has seduced him into the life of a fat, incontinent sex toy and Shinji is so hypnotized by the effortless affection and pleasure that Kaworu provides that he can't see the horrific downsides to the way he's living. He's essentially drowned in Kaworu's love, and this has allowed Kaworu to mold him into a fat bag of sodomy and incontinence, not only without Shinji objecting but with Shinji eagerly loving it.

I've said before that all these stories represent a "failure" for Shinji relative to the actual goals and themes of Eva. That can't be driven home enough. He's a complete failure, and that's erotic to me. I think this is one of the reasons I enjoy humiliating him so much in these stories, making him a crossdresser, having him clearly make a fool of himself in public. By the standards of his own show, the version of Shinji in these stories is a failure. He's stuck. He's doomed. And it's hot as hell.

I love that we all collectively agreed that Rei SHOULDN'T doom Asuka, at least not in the same way or to the same degree.

Speaking of stories, I think there's a reason people keep clamoring for your old Eva Weight Gain story, even though by your own admission the writing is subpar. I definitely remember a lot of spelling errors, grammatical errors, basic mistakes of the craft of writing.

But I also remember that story really nailing the transformational aspect of the weight gain, particularly for Shinji because with him it was combined with Kaworu queering him significantly.

Shinji basically is completely transformed over the course of that story. He goes from thin as a rail and almost totally heterosexual, to too fat to move and as queer as a three-dollar bill. The transformation, the overwhelming change, is a big part of what makes it so erotic, and I don't think you've quite reached that level of transformation in your subsequent Shinji stuff.

One of the things these Rentry stories do pretty well is show that level of transformation. It's a big part of their appeal, at least to me. Shinji getting turned totally upside-down, relative to what NGE portrays him as. From thin and straight to completely fat and completely gay. The drama of the transformation is very erotic. Your original story had that and I'm not sure you've reached that level of it in your stories since.

If you made a point of trying to recapture that, to depict it, I bet you could, though, since it's clear you've improved in the technical aspects of writing since then.

Writer here, I haven't really felt like writing anything for a while. Not sure if I'm tapped out or not. We'll see.

I do have a few more ideas, when it comes to both Shinji and Asuka. For Asuka, I've thought about having Rei take her to get doughnuts. You guys probably remember my Shinji story at the doughnut shop, where he's still mobile and he splits the seam of his pants and exposes his underwear. Google's algorithm loved that story for a while, it would show up if you just searched for "shinji ikari fat," and it seems to be a popular story among the Rentry stories. So I've thought of doing an Asuka version.

For Shinji, there is my aforementioned idea to take him to a Pride Parade. I've also thought of having Kaworu take him to the mall to buy perfume. Kaworu actively encourages Shinji to feminize himself as he gets fatter, and Shinji has quite eagerly gone along with it because he senses it's what Kaworu wants and he's eager to please his lover. So taking him further down the road of presenting as a woman in public seems like fodder for a fun story.

And then of course there's the lingering idea of the double date. Uniting fat Asuka and fat Shinji, at the prompting of Rei and Kaworu. It should be noted that these later stories, both the Asuka and the Shinji ones, almost certainly take place in a different continuity than my original run of Rentry stories, the one that ends with Mari smelling and hearing Shinji and being disgusted. That storyline ended, and now we're in kind of an "open world" storyline, where Shinji's somewhat the same as in the old storyline but not quite. The version of Shinji in the newer stories is probably more overtly queer, more genderfluid, than the Shinji in the old stories. Also, this is a different version of Rei; the Rei from the original run of stories is pretty disgusted by Kaworu's behavior, and would probably not have engaged in similar behavior with Asuka.

But that's a lot to say that the double date is definitely on my mind. I have a few ideas for it. A big idea is that Asuka is disgusted at how fat and incontinent and feminine Shinji has become, but her own obesity-induced troubles keep intruding on her attempts to judge him. It's hard for her to critique Shinji for being a fat girly pooper when she herself is wearing a muumuu, just like him, and loads her bariatric diaper almost as much as he does.

Shinji, I suspect, is a bit oblivious or immune to Asuka's judgment by this point, and probably is actually happier and more secure in his life than Asuka is in hers. Kaworu's consequence-free affection has filled up his entire universe and he doesn't really care about anything else. He's happy to be Kaworu's fat gay pet and so any criticism of his lifestyle just kind of bounces off him, these days. Ironically, transforming himself into an incontinent fat femboy has probably fixed a lot of the insecurities that plague him throughout the anime. It's just that the cost has been... considerable.

So those are my ideas at the moment. I must reemphasize that I'm always happy for other people to write stories with my ideas. I don't claim to have exclusive hold on any of these characters or concepts. This is all fanfiction, after all. I actively encourage people to write their own stories with Shinji and Kaworu, or Auska and Rei. I'm always eager to see what other people do with my ideas.

For the double date I do personally like the idea of Asuka still being a bit of a mean brat to Shinji mainly out of insecurity. Since we'll she has gotten more comfortable being a fat slob around Rei, girl has yet to fully accept it especially around others. So I love to imagine she does it to try and hide her insecurities and desire and not make it look like she is on the same path Shinji is. Best part is that all her teasing and degrading words actively turn Shinji on and don't get the effect she wants. As Shinji at this point enjoys being called a gay smelly slut and stuff like that. I think playing with this dynamic well they eat and are on a date would be so cute and also sexy.

Yeah, it really does work with him, doesn't it? There aren't a lot of male characters that feel like natural fits for slob, but Shinji is one of the few where it does feel very appropriate.

I do enjoy the context of it, too, where, in this particular case, his slobbiness is a direct side effect of his queerness and his greed for affection. He farts and shits so much because Kaworu has sex with him so much. It wouldn't be so bad if Kaworu didn't make love to him as often, but Shinji is so greedy for anal sex that he actively makes his gas and bowel problems worse. His slobbiness is entirely of his own making which I think makes it work better.

Any good Asuka stories? And does anyone know of a writer willing to take commission?

Got an Asuka story I may write soon. As mentioned earlier, it's a story of Asuka getting doughnuts, basically an Asuka version of one of my more popular Shinji stories.

I also really do need to have Kaworu take Shinji to the mall to get some perfume. I love the idea of him getting pushed up to the counter in his muumuu and his makeup and his earrings and his painted nails, totally confusing and weirding out the perfume salesgirl.

I've gotta say, one thing I'm really enjoying exploring in some of these later stories is just how happy and content Shinji is with his situation. In fact, he's overjoyed, and it's such a fun contrast with the objective facts of his situation.

I mean, think about where I've taken Shinji in these stories. He's overwhelmingly obese, so fat that he's basically immobile. Kaworu seems to take a cruel delight in emasculating him, dressing him in openly feminine clothes, putting him in jewelry and makeup, then parading him through the streets for all the world to see. In addition to fattening him up, Kaworu has basically groomed all the heterosexuality out of him, and he's now actively queer in a way he probably wouldn't have been without Kaworu in his life. Because of that, he's developed a love of anal sex that has rendered him fecally incontinent, and the huge volume and terrible quality of his diet means he frequently shits himself in large amounts.

And yet, despite all that... he's happier than he's ever been in his life. In fact, he seems to relish his situation, and take delight in the very things that should be horrifying to him. Because all of this has happened to him as a consequence of meeting Kaworu and being loved by him in a way he's never been loved before.

It's a very fun dynamic that keeps lending itself to story after story. I just keep getting new ideas to put the dynamic on display.

Note the difference each caretaker takes towards their fat pet's bodily functions: Kaworu is perfectly happy to let Shinji sit in his filth, while Rei is fastidious in making sure Asuka's mess is cleaned relatively quickly. Somebody in here observed that Rei seems to actually like Asuka, while Kaworu's attitude towards Shinji is self-serving on his part, and I think they're right, that's how it's shaken out.

Even if Rei and Asuka relationship is less romantic and more of a mother daughter dynamic. It's clear Rei and Asuka have developed actually love for each other do to these situations. Shinji and Kaworu is much more romantic but very much seems like Kaworu has created this dynamic out of his own desires and basically manipulated Shinji to the point where he is. Shinji is happy and that is all that matters though.

Yeah, I really do think that's central to what makes these stories work. Both Asuka and Shinji have wound up happy, despite how unusual, and perhaps how off-putting, their circumstances have become. You can think about it as them both basically searching for affection all throughout the show, and now they've found it without having to do any of the hard work of reaching out to others. Rei and Kaworu just give it to them, consequence-free. In fact, I think one of the reasons they've both become so fat and lazy and even incontinent is that they don't have to work for the affection they get. It's basically given to them in a paternalistic way, so they've both kind of regressed into a semi-infantile state, content to be cared for and molded into fat pets.

Writer here, thanks for that feedback. I can be a little too blunt at times, with my love for the contrast between Shinji's state of life and how he feels about it. I'll remember that line about vanity, too. I might lean into that a little in future stories. Shinji becoming vain and vapid as a fat, feminine pig. He's so drunk on Kaworu's constant affection that it's all gone to his head and made him haughty and arrogant and spoiled, which is a fun contrast with the fact that he's an immobile blob of fat that frequently wallows in his own feces.

I wonder if he's started to talk with the stereotypical gay lisp at this point. Kaworu's groomed him pretty hard into homosexuality, that might be a part of it.

However, in the meantime, I have something new for you guys. Several of you have asked me, from time to time, if Misato is ever going to show up in Shinji's stories. I've never said it explicitly, but I've become pretty firmly against Misato showing up, because I think it's part of Kaworu's grooming of Shinji to keep him away from remnants of his old life. At least, remnants that might be a positive influence, like Misato or Rei; bad influences, influences that encourage his obesity and homosexuality, are welcome in Kaworu's eyes, hence why he lets Ritsuko hang around. But I think he'd want to go out of his way to keep Misato away because there's a chance she could break his spell over Shinji.

That said, Misato's absence from this 'universe' has been a pretty glaring one; she's almost the one major Eva character who's not been accounted for so far. For a while, I've wondered what I was going to do about that, what I was going to do with her.

Yeah, he's pretty hefty these days, isn't he? When I started the 'second round' of stories, that wasn't attempting to advance an overall plot, he was around 300 kilos but I've crept him bigger and bigger over subsequent stories until now he's crested 400.

I kind of like his adventures at around 400 kilos. Absolutely huge, but just barely still able to go out in public with Kaworu's considerable help. Writing his enormous bulk out in public is fun.

Not to mention that now that I've introduced Misato I've kind of got her, Shinji, and Asuka in a range where they're all separated by about 200 kilograms. Asuka herself weighs about 200, Shinji's the next-biggest at around 400, and Misato's the biggest of all at around 600. It's a nice status quo, at least for a while.

I don't know. I've never known what to do with Kaji. He's the one I'm REALLY stumped about, if I'm honest with myself.

It doesn't help that he dies halfway through the show, so he doesn't really get an "endgame" like the core cast does.

I suppose I could throw him into the Shinji/Kaworu mix, given that Shinji in his queerness has expressed a desire for him. Remember he's been the subject of one of Shinji's wet dreams.

Actually, hold on. Let me try and make sense of this "continuity" of mine. At least since the original run of stories ended, with Shinji in Kaworu's clutches forever as Mari walks away from them.

This "second run" of stories seems to have the following setup:

Spins off of Episode 24, "The Last Cometh," and Kaworu's appearance and subsequent connection with Shinji. This is where the canon of the weight gain stories diverges. In THIS version of things, Kaworu successfully seduces Shinji to run away with him. This also involves Kaworu himself running away from what SEELE expected him to do, which was to touch Lilith and start Third Impact.

In the aftermath of this, I assume Unit-01 shuts down completely, Yui having realized that, at least for now, there'll be no going forward with the Scenario. This scuttles the plans of both NERV and SEELE, and there's probably some big political calamity with the entire Global World Government run by the UN. There's some kind of chaos, what I haven't decided, and NERV collapses, taking Tokyo-3 with it.

In the ensuing chaos, Rei comes across Asuka in the bathtub before Section-2 does, and decides to run away with her.

Misato somehow comes into a lot of money (probably steals it as NERV collapses) and decides to abscond into "retirement," taking Maya, Makoto, and Aoba with her.

Ritsuko also escapes.

Understandably, Gendo and Fuyutski's whereabouts are unknown, and that's probably just how they like it, at least for the time being.

So, everyone who escapes the ruins of NERV makes it to various parts of the United States, perhaps all in California since it's on the West Coast. I've always figured Shinji, Kaworu, and Ritsuko are in Northern California in their stories, with Asuka and Rei in some other part of the state, and Misato maybe further down in Southern California, closer to Los Angeles.

And after the passage of a few years, Shinji, Asuka, and Misato have all gotten really, really fat, under the grooming guidance of their various caretakers.

Under this scenario there's no need to account for Kaji because he'd already be dead.

Ritsuko is an enjoyable addition to Shinji and Kaworu's dynamic because she's very cold-blooded and clear-sighted about what, exactly, Shinji has become, but she's so sadistic and perverted that it turns her on rather than putting her off.

Let's be honest, Ritsuko's a real piece of work, this is obvious from the anime. Not the nicest of people. But that makes it fun to throw her into this scenario because she acts as an assist to Kaworu's manipulation of Shinji into his current state, and because Shinji is such a pathetic person that he's aroused by the humiliating aspect of her observing his many deficiencies in his current state.

This is, again, perhaps not something that was inevitable for Shinji. But it's what he's become, what Kaworu and Ritsuko have turned him into. I do hope I've been able to successfully emphasize the extent to which Shinji has been manipulated and groomed into his current state. Kaworu and Ritsuko using his greed for affection to twist him to their own desires.
