If you have multiple layers when coloring set the main layer with the drawing to multiply and color on the new layer and the layer set to multiply will inherit the color from the layer below that's how you can make the hair not have the little white dots remain

Apologies in advance. These aren't exactly tailored to your question, but I'd obviously already made them for something similar, so hopefully they help clear some stuff up rather than make it more confusing.

The main thing to start out with on any uncolored art is; set the original image (the lineart/ink) to 'multiply' and then every normal layer of color you want to put down goes UNDER the lineart in the layers panel.

Let me know if you've got any other questions.
