>>113776>>113934Yeh New Hayven 365 is......... disappointing
Early game until you get the new bed is a pain.
Job income is inconsistent - I mean I could get $200+ for the days work but if I have to eat a meal before going I was getting $80 which just covered the meal and $30 spare.
One of the things in The Weighting Game that was a pain was the rent payment stuff and I know it's about adding more to the game etc but at least in The Weighting Game it actually forced you to engage with the work stuff which actually led to it's own own events and stories round it and you could quickly become quite stable with raises etc. New Hayven has it so instead of rent you get punished twice by having to use time to get a meal and then pay for it and using said time costs you more money too so in the end you're really spending about $180 every 2 -3 days ($50 for the meal + about $100 - $130 lost working time.
I also ran into a bug with the nerdy Gamer girl in that I did the arcade date and failed and it said I'd have to retry then the option never came back up so I never got to progress past cuddling.
Also the cafe minigame is I swear linked to maximum FPS you can achieve so it becomes near unplayable on higher end machines after you've reach about $15 - $20 in earnings. I think this also links to the shooting gallery minigame too either that or the hitboxes are really tiny on those targets.
People keep on about how they'd love X, Y or Z and there's no obvious way to give it to them.
The Random illness thing is a pain as it the cost to prevent it $1000 a time really?
The VHS player seems useless as I never got any VHS tapes. so is currently a wasted upgrade.
Only the home cooked mean from the restaurant girl is really worth it as all the other food really doesn't reduce character hunger much.
There's no obvious schedule sometimes the Pawn shop is open sometimes it's closed in the morning there seems to be no way to know schedules.
It feels a lot more stuff / inflation focussed than actual weight gain with characters bloating up more.
The actual interactions with the girlfriends seem too limited too. Once again The Weighting Game shows how this can be done. Tons of date options . Whole Hog being another such game with more date options and interactions too. Also where's the girls on about her gaining and either confessing she likes it or confronting the player character or even asking if they like it? It seems like they gain and and it's like "Oh I got too fat for all my clothes what a turn of events of well". One of my exs who wasn't a feedee she just was a natural glutton really freaked out on me before when she outgrew her "Fat Pants" and after a big meal laying down I opened the button on them for her because she looked in real pain because of them,
So I end on positives: Maybe there's a spark of promise in it:
The character models are decent.
The Minigame ideas are at least ideas that in theory could work if fixed.
