I myself im gulity of this but I guess the thought process is pretty much simple, people are atracted to real and they look for means to make stuff look realistic or close to it that's why live action exist in first place. That said the quality might depend upon the image realistic does not go with everything and for those who don't like nothing will be good enought and those who like it will be fine with even the most uncanny valley picture ever.
