With funding secured I'll try to get back into generating now that I don't have to stress about running a donation drive anymore. As a side note, it always bring me a little smile when I see one of my old generations being used as an example. Especially considering it was before pony, before adetailer, it's just amazing how much better we can do now, and yet, in those times, it's clear there were some things people liked. Here's an attempt at recreating the "plump bottom heavy aymusk" style you're so fond of with modern Pony and Sysmix and Adetailer. Truth be told, I don't think we'll ever get it exactly like it was, since those old generations were made at 576x576 and scaled up. Pony gens start at 1024x1024, that plus all the differences in Pony and all the changes made to Symix... you'd really need to pull out all those old loras/models to get the exact same look. In addition, if you look at the example images for the Lora you posted on CivitAI at the bottom, they only mostly vaguely look like the subject, and I had that problem as well. So i swapped out the Lora for the only other Pony lora of binah, though that one seems to have trouble doing anything but black and yellow backgrounds for whatever reason.

Hah, yeah, to be honest I think most of my favorite AI pics are pre-Pony. I mean, look at these fucking things, they're tremendous. I keep reposting them and using them as references because they were just that good, at least in my opinion. Pony-era gens can be very nice, I've seen some I really liked, but I've spent the past year waiting and hoping for things to somehow get back to this, which felt just about perfect. After seeing so many AI pics where the girl's hand just kinda merges with her belly, seeing that Momoyo for the first time floored me. That grab. Goddamn.

Maybe I need to start asking for Belt-Buster style again? Maybe that was part of the secret sauce, he does some really soft bellies. I remember Dorothy and Castti here both used Belt-Buster as an art style source. Can't recall for the other two but they might have used it too. I remember there was a sysmix thing where the AI would only half-mimic the artstyle of an artist, and I saw that as a plus because it seemed to favor BB's bellies over mimicking the faces and hands, which I didn't always like as much. Then later I wasn't sure if Pony could do that so I stopped requesting specific artists.

Oh, there was a second Binah Pony lora? Maybe I should get a Civitai account so I can see the NSFW-tagged models, I only saw the one.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention - The fourth Binah pic is really fun because the AI put a portrait of a skinnier Binah in the background. That's great use of the AI's tendency to make background NPCs look like the main subject.

It's a really complex issue, come to think of it. Technology moves on. All those prior gens used the fabled Aurora Borealis, the famous model developed here that was custom tailored to fats generation, if I'm remembering correctly. With everyone relying heavily on LoRas to do to the heavy lifting with fats generation nowadays, we forget how amazing a custom-made base model was for getting something EXACTLY a certain way when mixing with fat artist LoRas. Nowadays, it's much more difficult to make a fat artist's style shine through in the generation, when there's up to 4 other lora' (symix, detailer, character, maybe even a style?) competing for generation representation, all on a base model like Pony or Autism mix which has fat *compatibility* but wasn't built from the ground up to handle fat like AB. And I think Symix does a pretty great job replicating the artists in it's Dataset, but still, those old single-artist loras we got first did have something special about them.

But all the benefits of pony.. from higher resolutions, to WAYYYY less manual fixing of hands/feet/face, to most LorA creators migrating TO it and leaving SD 1.5 in the dust as far as getting new Loras, has made the generations you're so fond of kind already the "floppy disk" of AI. Like yeah you could pull out those old models and loras and and make the same-ish stuff, but it would seem like you're going back in time, and you would be.

Still, I actually wonder how many people still prefer the look of "Perfected SD 1.5 on AB" vs "Still being perfected SDXL on Pony" at this point. In my hubris, I kind of assumed the vast majority of people prefer higher res pony stuff and just didn't bother copying all my SD 1.5 models/loras when I last re-did my PC, and really no one was specifically requesting SD 1.5 gens anymore, only occasionally maybe linking to a SD 1.5 loras when they didn't know any better.

Here's a few more binah on Autismmix, with random weights of two of the three artists you tend to prefer (Akina, Aymusk, BeltBuster). Maybe a combination of those artists is really what you're looking for in new gens, to kind of "bring it home" where just referencing one artist was enough on AB, maybe we need two in Pony, since it wasn't made from the ground up with fats in mind. (the first is actually all three artists at equal weights, just for fun). Maybe one of these new combos of your old faves could be your new goto order, idk. Maybe you have your own perfect combination in your head. Maybe like, 50% BeltBuster, 40% Akina, 10% Aymusk?

I also experimented a bit with moving the artists up in the prompt like I use to do, rather than putting it at the end like I would for Pony usually.

The lower resolution is definitely the big drawback I see with my old faves on the user side, I have no idea how much post-gen editing and fixing they underwent to assume their final forms. Im learning to gen myself. One thing I struggle with is fat faces and getting the bellies right. They always end up looking inflated, not fat. In general, any tips to this? My advice is trying to test the strength of LORA and Symix, using brackets to be more specific, and using Adetailer, and Hi-res fixes, it may took some time and failed attempts, but if you get hang of it, it will show
